Just a brief rant I subscribe to They work for you ,the debates in the House of commons , I have had some of the most insulting letters in the form of an excuse from MP’s such as Harriet Harman about closed courts. I recently had a reply from Jack Straw ,this time about section 91/14 being handed down to many families.

This is a barring order I stuck it up on my profile page on face book Jack “said his computers were not able to cope with holding the data of just how many were being stopped from returning to court without good reason to fight their cases in closed court”.

I have subscribed to the New Fathers for Justice Forum this is what they have to say about Gay Rights to being a parent . I have to agree with Nick he is right no gay person should take precedence over and above a birth parent .Even if they gain custody by foul legal means in closed court. http://www.pinknews.co.uk/news/articles/2005-9056.html#

I have to agree whilst I have no objection to gays being parents, where are the Government going to find these spare children? Are they going to remove these children from straight couples in Kangeroo Trials in closed court ?

I have met distraught families who have lost children to same sex couples. I got asked how this felt when I heard my son was being placed with a same sex couple . Until you have experienced this had your children removed by the corporate parent then do not pass any other remark about forced same sex adoption or foster care being the appropriate option for children who were brought up in a heterosexual community.

Some independent Children’s Charity should do the research on what the children /adults have had to say about such social engineering .We wonder what these children/adults in the future will carry on their banners,when they protest about private family life and a right to bring up their children.

Freedom of Speech ,what ever happened to freedom of speech.

Just a tip for the MP’s when they raise questions in the House about were do you think this data is store ? get up out of bed a week early to think about it .

Then spend some time thinking about this , do you think you can fool the general public all of the time?

This is in the public’s best interest ,we want to know what has taken so long to open up the Family Closed courts.

Nothing has even been brought up in discussion in the House in the 4 years I have been writing and been fobbed off after my child was abducted in closed court.

If I was in better health I would join F4J show you some support for bringing awareness to the general public ,just what these MP’s really do .

These so called MP’s do nothing for you !!!! At the next meet up at Harriet’s Home,can I ask you to stick this junk mail that she sent me, back through her letter box along with a ton of other junk mail she has sent out to decent hardworking taxpayers . Harriet Harman is a typical liar . I am watching you and what you do next, as a woman who obviously has a family of her own,surely you would not want to be seen to be over riding the outstanding questions of Kangeroo Trials for profit in First Avenue House Holborn or other such courts in the UK.

This week I watched on the BBC1 iplayer ” Losing it ” With Griff Rhys Jones on anger the 1st episode. I look forward to seeing the next episode. I should really contact him and see if he would like to interview me and take a look at my psychological profile or lack of it lol. Or the bogus MMP1-2 which was written from a PO BOX address,a lengthy report for Court which was incomprehensible and not accepted here in the UK.

I along with thousands of other people: I must confess,that I also suffer too from stressful situations. I mean, don’t we all suffer from an out burst in 1 way or another?.

In an average week I get close to a thousand e-mails a week, admin warns me my in box is full. I talk to journalist”s who say “they do not get it: what is going on in closed court “! We expect to much from the media as they need to be able to see the paperwork . Then and only then, will the press maybe able see so clearly, the injustice of ongoing un-fair trials in closed courts. The law needs to be flexible allowing the media to print stories.

Just recently I have been had my subscription for a well known divorce site support forum suspended, this is not a first time either , I am run off on a regular basis off many forums by police or social workers who work the forums. I guess the judges & barristers who are touting for business on there found my blog a bit to close to home for comfort.

So much for freedom of speech.

Some forums are excellent for advice & support others tend to want to keep you at a level of limbo where you learn nothing unless you pay for it.

The site owner had a problem with my rants about women losing custody.Try this link to people living in the real world and not 1 of totally deluded pre court final hearing,the blinkers are firmly on the horses on the wikivorce community ,the same can not be said for this community it has it’s eyes wide open to the interpretation of the law and the abuse of use of experts or so NOt expert witnesses.Such as Psychologist & Child Psychiatrist , here in the UK you do not have a say who comes in court all the so called parties have to agree upon which expert can give evidence! http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?article=7670&page=23 Not a problem I understand fully where he is coming from.

I personally have a problem with creating a false sense of security for the community which the site ,,,,,,,, is really all about.

On the other hand there is data which is being collated by the MP’s which has been placed in the public domain: the stats for over 30,000 women a year being labelled with MSBP ,some MP’s think this theory has been put to bed however, we know different .

An invite came in this week to visit a forum in Australia which looks very interesting as, the debate moves on to calling in the United Nations concerning breaching families human rights in closed court, concerning child abuse, and the risk of placing a child with a violent parent etc .

The British people, I find are in the majority, they are far too slow on the up take. Or blatantly just simply do NOT WANT TO KNOW about such cases of injustice that affect all of us as families living in society.

Moving on now

My ex-partners profile would be interesting: how the closed courts are now making decisions about placing children with parents who have” a anger management problem” . We are currently collating the cases of children who were placed with violent parents.

Just how long it takes to break the bond of mother & child by social services with the instruction of an expert witness. We will be studying these cases. I have read all of the paperwork that came through solicitors offices. Stuff I was not meant to understand the meaning of .

Moving back to those diaries now: as this person we have been allocated is badly deformed in body & also character it seems. She probably has a deformed outlook on life too . To give her ,her full title :she is know a senior child protection officer working for LAC team 3 .

Today Wednesday she is being a Bastard to work with and she knows it . She has failed , simply because no one to date has lashed out and hit her . I made her feel what she truly was inferior for even trying it on. I had to diffuse a situation between her and my eldest son. She was a horror of a human being to work with. My son or anyone else’s son would have gone for her.And I mean literally gone for her.

She stopped us from doing anything we wanted to do before C went in the L& D for his treatment.It is documented throughout C enjoyed contact , the social services were to later to pull out all the stops to change this for him.

Wednesday 1st September 2004

3:00 pm We are to go to the Rabbit Ward for an injection of Vincristine for my youngest son . (This Vincristine is given to the patient on an alternative day: due to a fatal mistake by some medical professional in the past .)

My diary now reads: it was brought up in court by my barrister: where did it matter where they ate ? as she questioned this SW ?

This day the social worker was intent on provoking my eldest son G. She refused to let us go to the GINGIS RESTAURANT ,instead we were ordered to McDonalds .She stopped us going anywhere this day . She was so difficult, we had only got a short time to be with C so most of it was taken up with trying to persuade this person to join in the activities. Whether it was in a decent restaurant or to the local park .She has my younger child in tears now as she tells me “she will end contact”. I will not go along to Mc Donalds again for lunch,she can write negative remarks all she wants about food .

Our friend’s are observing this from the background in the main high street in Luton.In the end we try to hail a taxi , she then backs down and offers to use her car and give us a lift to Wardown Park. If only to save her own face.

We ended up in Wardown Park her in the back ground watching us . Later we headed to the L& D for more chemotherapy treatment. Our day outing ruined ,a job well done by SS is about as low as you can possibly go doing this to a seriously ill child who just wants to see his family.

17th August 2004 no contact

18th Wednesday 12:30 Unity house Child Protection meeting , they remove the name off the at risk register,in reality my son was never at risk at all.

This was an opinion from a doctor who took out an EPO in Addenbrookes hospital. I complained about missed medication that my son missed and his care on the ward when there was a shortage of staff. We all know the complaints from relatives of patients ,we have heard all the horror stories.

I was not getting a chance to walk out of the hospital with my complaints this is the end result now. I never failed in my duty of care to C to see he was given appropriate medical treatment.I brought it to the attention of the nurse he had missed 2 lots of chemotherapy on Sunday Afternoon.There were 3 staff nurses to 17 children.

I now have supervised contact 3 times a week if not more if there is hospital admissions , later on at Leagrave Family Centre 10:00am – 11: 30 it will remain like this for the rest of my sons childhood, only after the post final hearing it will be 1 hour a month .

The Local Authority have yet to say what risk I would be to my son we are now in September 2008.

So many years later I watched the local authority, as they were willing to take substantial risks whilst they had PR for a seriously ill child.

19th Thursday 2004 no contact

20th August 10:00am – 1 :00pm

I have a video of this day out in Mead Open Farm C was stung by a wasp these SW’s had no phone numbers for a direct line to the Rabbit Ward. The court order said to train: me they were supposed to be training me to look after C , a community nurse was supposed to give me results of blood counts & neutraphil counts etc.

I was not sure at this stage if C was neutropenic simply because I had not been brought into the loop.

21st – 22nd Saturday – Sunday 2004 the weekends are long when waiting for the next contact session.

23 rd Monday 2004 C goes on holiday ,not sure about this it is on – off he returns on 31/8/2004

I pick up the phone and I book a 5 day trip to New York ,I have never been before I decided I am going to have a break, I can sit at home or I can live a normal life just for a few days at least.This is all you hear from social workers & solicitors ,off on holiday.

24 th Tuesday 2004 I pack a suitcase I always wanted to go to NY just never had the guts to go ,now I am off within a few hours.

The family aid asks me” what will you do with yourself now C is on holiday?”

I bet most of her clients do not reply off to NY for a few days.

25 th Wednesday a taxi driver M picks me up in the Merc we head for Heathrow I can not remember much about the flight it is my first of many long haul flights. What an experience getting past immigration ,it was frightening , he asks me if I am on my own ? I tell him I am going shopping etc ,he is the first of many, who will later on, tell me that I am brave .I bought C a baseball jacket from Modells & T shirts for another child in Addenbrookes I said what shall I bring you back .

29th the August 2004

31st August 2004 09:30 – 3:00pm

I arrive back at Heathrow my friend picks me up in his new car . I am so exhausted that I do not think I could find my way out of the airport.

I sleep all day long ,I am still tired when I travel up with the social workers in their car to Addenbrookes hospital . There is a foster carer , 1 senior child protection officer & a family aid doing reports for court.

I ask the SW what proposals she had for contact? As the contact would need to be re-assessed given that C would be poorly.

The SW got very irrate with me for asking.

She spat it out” Well it will have to be somewhere appropriate”.

She was never very good at forward planning , I think she loathed the drive up to Cambridge with me in the car , she could not find her way it was hell they were useless, frequently she got lost or lost her car.

In the end she made me get the train at least then, I could have a bowl of pasta from M& S shop at Cambridge and a bottle of wine on the train home before catching up with my friend S in London . I just never went home at all much back then I was either in the gym ,in the hospital or out in London mostly with friends.

I was very naive and trusted all of the professionals, I had no reason not to trust them .Experience would teach me so much later on about secret courts in the UK .

Shame there is no such training in the Family Division

I thought I would discuss the complaints procedure for professionals, this is 1 big joke for anyone who has even tried to navigate through the read tape.I am going to have a go after years of chasing evidence which is being shredded now. Time is running out to go to the GMC , I hear it is so difficult to get past the panel.This is the work of a team of people so I am struggling now as I prepare my complaints.

I will delete the names and post the faxes from both solicitors & doctors which were not disclosed or paginated for court. These so called respectable professionals have a very underhand way of doing business. I will put up links about domestic violence ,a year later we met this expert witness. I will back up her research ,her findings ,then do a comparison to a case study which is our case.

The faxes and evidence is shocking what is worst is this ,these individuals have today got away with this.

Basically I am going to wait for a decision to be made then expose the handy work from highly paid individuals employed upon their expertise & expert opinion .

The facts will speak clearly. I will not need to put in my own opinion on such a serious matter of domestic violence.

In the public interest the truth needs to be exposed to people in society who are as naive as I was back in 2004 when it comes down to working with so called multi-agency groups.

You decided if you would have faith in the system ,or whom you can put your trust in .

Watch this space then decided what you will do when it comes to taking legal advice.

The similarities are shocking as the facts of serious issues are discussed 1 way ,then in reality children are then placed with men who have got a criminal record for violence.

To have to face the courts after being subjected to domestic violence ,anyone who has had to deal with the so called team of uncaring professionals straight across the board,will have by now reached a point of having no respect left at all for these so called experts & the legal professional group.

Later in November 2006 the Judge made a point of letting me know this at the final hearing before barring me out of court , she said “you have no respect for professionals in Authority”.For someone like myself having reached 46 years old with no past history of causing harm to others in society Why would I be showing such a side of myself that was not clearly there pre court trial?. Clearly she could see I was not impressed with the same age group of women surrounding me such as social workers ,barristers and solicitors.They clearly under estimate the walks of life people come from also the experiences of life they carry with them might just be above and beyond the average social worker & solicitor.You can fool some of the people ,but it is a case of not fooling all of the people in the KANGEROO COURT.

The expert witness was almost senile ,and near retirement age.She belonged in her day ranked up their with the rest of the high up there rank of feminist psychiatrists.They put on quiet a floor show for me up at the RCJ The BIG GUN LAWYER’s prancing about walking up and down in front of me glaring over staring me down ,wait till I get you in there and see what I can do to you look. I had come back on human rights abuse on behalf of my son to enjoy contact. I had already taking my kicking in The First Avenue House in Principle Registry in February 2005.

Moving on now

I have it appears now I have managed to have rattled this Judge who threatened me with prison, this was before I set foot in her court , for daring to complain about the contact the previous high court judge said to give me in February 2005 .It seems you can get done for contempt of court , but not for any real conviction for child abuse ,why do people not get this ? What are these courts about ? what are they setting out to do, protect children or what ?

I had just had major surgery on 11th September 2006 6 weeks prior to November hearing 4 day trial this was for a hysterectomy,this would turn out to be my final & last court appearance . Your Honor barred me out till 2010 on section 91/14 . I can reflect back now and see the funny side of this decision , it was not so funny at the time though.I took her advice take it or leave it 1 hr 30 minutes in a contact centre. I asked L what do you want me to say to the LA barrister who took your children? When we stood up the judge left the room I said to the barrister, “we mothers are getting as hard nosed as you lot .I am as hard as D’s mother when you sent him off to adoption. Now it is clear that these legals know before they step into court each day with the same repeated template used day in day out for emotional harm using the same judges and same expert witnesses , the internet predicts the outcome of the final hearing for you not the courts.

So in the place of fear now stood disrespect. May I say respect has to be earned , this is a two -way interaction YOU HONOR ,she threatened me through the barrister before I came in the court room”I will not have this mother coming in dictating to me what she wants. What these bunch of power legals seem to forget is: victims switch off at some point from bullying after all a bully is a bully whether it is dressed in a gown or concealed beneath a

I am sleeping a lot after minor surgery,however I am feeling the trauma of the procedure now that I have come off the painkillers.No names, no plugs for products on Lyndamac’s blog,I just simply can not stand the stomach upset and feeling sick . There was no 1 on the reception when I got out of the appointment .I have just found a letter the consultant gave me to hand in to the receptionist last week for 6 months Urgent physiotherapy.

The expert witnesses in 2005 closed court can go through your medical records and then dismiss incurable disease,trouble is her words might of terrorized me back then, however the disease I still have to live with, also it needs treatment now, due to testing positive back then in 2000with the rheumatoid factor .The EWs’ will tell the judge you need 2 years CBT therapy ,trouble is your solicitor or barrister will not be able to call doctor after doctor in to keep going over the medical facts with the judge verifying you have XYZ.

What is the point the expert witness is GOD in closed court.There is nothing in the medical journals say’s or proves you can get UC by abnormal illness behavoiur. Irritable bowel however is brought on by stress this is socially related not as serious as UC . Surely they do not persecute disabled people in closed court ? the answer is yes the do.It is called Psychiatric abuse.

Refuse to go along with permission to see your records.

Then imagine again if this is good enough in principle to remove long term,your children from your care with this template of findings in closed court the outcome in future costs to society.

You can lose your children simply because of an expert stepping outside of their field.If this happened to me, it has also happened to thousands of people,from all walks of life. Their genetic data or pathology trashed,by an expert witness, in favour of fraud science.

This leads me up to the campaign to open closed adoption. I have met Tim Loughton the children’s shadow minister on the 14th May 2008 at 11:00am Portculis House. In general of people do not trust politicians as far as they can throw them.I do like this man he is on the ball and he is on the right track, he raised questions about adoption & a right to find a genteic key for children in 2001 however in Parliament it just flopped at such a stage.

So ask yourself this question ,how do these children or adults find a genetic key when they are critically ill?. Do we have to wait until 1 of our children fall in love with an adopted child in the future have children of their own ,your grandchildren, this would be your grandchildren I am talking about hypothetically falls out or remission for leukaemia or has an inherited congenital disease.

As a service user having now gone through the system in the family courts, I know only to well after hearing about many trials concerning medical child abuse cases were the evidence is shaped together for such a profile of MSBP .

I can look you straight in the eye now and say the disclosure of pathology is tampered with to suit a case for child abuse. There needs to be a panel in there over seeing the way these so called experts run on with theory,then apply limited knowledge or lack of expertise to the courts.

More time should be given to fight threshold argument. I will have to say this is not a campaign about women losing contact it is about how families are losing children to adoption ,or a divorce case when you lose contact long term with family members.

Sadly I have found evidence to support a lot of women losing custody battles in closed court I am social networking in these circles with other mothers so I will make this very clear. I belong to a minority group of outcast mothers which is growing in numbers ,no one knows were we will end up with these groups.

It is also very ,clear that a civil rights movement is kicking off as the social networking globally of meetings with such strong defiant women who gave birth to children who can not see them grow up during their childhood .There is no secret anymore about the stats results anymore. What is interesting is the way the government will not be ready to ever publish the real results just how many women and how many classrooms of children are disappearing when applying draconian law and rarely used MSBP theory.

Just today some one sent me a You tube video highlighting a 9 year old girl was taken. I am getting to the switch of point with seeing so many children suffering ,just like the feed me adverts on TV for 3 rd world countries ,what can we do about it .Switch off or switch on. The choice is yours.

I do know this ,it is a system which out of control, a system which has no respect for the voice of a child.

Thank you for the lady who has commented on my blog that we should stick together , she is welcome to join me only if she is willing to see the whole picture. I do not take part in divide and conquer tactics, a lot of men who are fathers, good men lose out to malicious ex-partners too.

We are all united in this injustice which has ruled many parents out of children’s lives for no just reason.

This morning I rang up the new school,I have made it clear I am a children’s rights campaigner ,I explained how difficult the multi-agency groups are at handing over limited information about my child to me. I got straight to the point.I am still waiting for the hand over of an end of school report.Just because my ex partner got custody in a kangeroo court in 2005 ,I have had maybe 4 days in total since this placement 1 day a year to see him in a supervised contact setting. The problems created in that short time or manufacture by social workers shall we say constitutes child abuse dished out by the corporate parent , it has breached Child C’s right to enjoy his contact with his mother & his eldest brother post final hearing.

She asked me did I want to return to contact? I said not really,who would want an abnormal relationship with there child.

I just want the information about his education and his hospital treatment.

when was the last time you saw your mother?

Monday 16th August 2004 I am very busy still running around ,10:00am – 11:30 Leagrave Family Centre supervised contact .

13 :40 L& D oncology children’s out patients appointment for C .

17:00pm appointment with my solicitor that is if I can find the time after a busy day. I do not think people realise the added distress put upon a mother & child whilst they are parted during these assessments which are on going for 42 weeks . If they do then they do not give a damn about the welfare of the child they do not make allowances even if your child has cancer.

This day stood out in my mind in particular as being cruel , cruelty is the word I want to use here.

The social worker knew in reality my son was not coming home, not this year, not next year, maybe when he is 12 years old: Gillick competent . For me this is the cut off point at which I draw the line with her beating me up day in day out psychologically, this day is to be remembered long term by a child who was 7 years old at the time, who was also old enough to understand what she was saying to him.

She was leading him on, I could not take part, I could not lie to him . She was trying to play tag running around the garden with my son.I stood back took a good look right through her. In the context of playing with him she said “the courts could decide IF he goes home for Christmas”.

This sounds simple enough for a 7 year old who is trusting of grown ups generally .She was small enough in build that if I wanted to grab her and hurl her over the fence for this callous ACT.She knew I could have her easy .

Later on she provoked my eldest son who was 24 years old at the time so much he said” mum I can not go see him like that I want my memories to be good only of C not this crap” .

It was clear I was being set up ,but for what ?

So on Christmas day I am shocked and can not describe the scene for this 8 year old child he had less rights than a prisoner .I will come back to this later on, how he spent his first Christmas ALONE in hospital . With out even a phone call to his family.

On the other hand my son did not know what she was doing to me by a character assassination in writing her reports for court. Later on my barrister said it was obvious this individual who was deformed by a birth defect personalized the case .My friend saw her in my health club “he was training to go into social care at the time,” Oh jesus I would not want someone like that for a SW they would also have a deformed out look on life” Boy was he right on this, she had no life skills , no experience of looking -after children.

I was destroyed in 1 report for being horrified at the Foster care giving C Sunny Delight for a drink. I had to say in the nicest way buy vitamins and buy orange juice as it is full of crap! This warranted a remark about abnormal attitude to food. You simply could not write this. This kind of behaviour is rife it is done to make you crack up leave the contact as it leads on to abuse of basic human rights or so it did with this particular case.

The legals are able to psychoanlyze everyone on the shop floor of the court who are working and who are prey means you the paying victim of course.

Moving on now

This social worker was so busy back then( but not to busy to get personal with me of course ) with a work load she simply changed the names in the reports and said “this mother has not change!” My son was 4 years old in the report when he was almost 8 years old you can not mistake children for age difference like this! .

My solicitor pointed out what she had done. I took everything in and everything on board even when she hoped I would interact on the same level keep me busy on a personal basis.I on the other hand am interested in watching the whole shop floor and what is coming next.I do not want to think about this thing now I have relegated her in status to a thing not a person ,until she starts to behave like a human being she will not warrant my attention.I walk the mothers through this abuse now when they are losing their cases to adoption targets.

Moving on to later I am ahead of the thing when she pulls the stunt with the foster carer. The use of inhalers !!!!

Who am I ?

Where do I come from?

I am from a retail back ground,I can sell ashtrays to a motor bike. I have worked hard all of my life until I got ill, this was mostly in shops, bars, night clubs, restaurants, most of my late teenager years which were spent working hard with people from all walks of life in the community . I have learnt a lot working for 1 particular man who was a self made millionaire. This man arrived in the UK he had nothing when he arrived here , his father died, he worked and sent money home to is mother in Ireland.

MR D god bless him taught me to paint a picture. I was left in charge of his public house in 1993 , he would ring me up at 17 :30 and want to know who is in ?

Then” how do the curtains look ?”lol fix those bloody curtains like you would in your house!!! lol

I had surgery last Thursday around 11:00 am ,I was marked down as urgent surgery for a frozen shoulder I went down for a pre- medical assessment Wednesday I had 1 last chance to go to town. So I hurried down to M&S a few days earlier got my ready dinners in the freezer ,all that was left was to buy a flask also buy some extra large tops to go over a sling , and I am good to go in hospital at 07:30 am.

Or so I thought so thank you to MR B for asking me to continue drinking champagne also for the kind invitation to join him for dinner, I almost missed the surgery lol .

I have been busy since coming out of hospital with research I was talking to MR G who is writing a paper on domestic violence ,I would like to now mediate between the courts & social workers regarding serious issues for children who are supposed to be represented through out court proceedings.

Lets go back to the diaries of 2004 leading up to the final hearing.

12th August 2004 Thursday is blank except for 9- 11:00 am carpet maybe the new stair carpet is being laid or re-laid .

Friday 13th 2004 Child C is saying this; the teenager daughter who lives with her mother who is a foster carer looking after our son is saying “why don’t you go and live with your dad?”

I said to C why don’t you ask her the same question “why doesn’t she live with her dad”

Another comment about her mother’s partner (same sex ) C says” she is a wierdo because she calls her fingers …..”

This young lady complained about having a sick child in the house later , as my son could not help coughing all through the night. I told him tell her” you are a paying guest ” the taxpayers paid an extortionate amount of money for his upkeep.This was due to C being special needs having treatment for leukaemia at that time & also needing an IEP with his educational needs ,her mother had nursing back ground, the partner had a back ground working in a school,the same school my son has just gone up to a few days ago.

14th Saturday no contact

Sunday 15th August A family who befriended us from Peterborough invited me to a Wedding I could not make it . This father A came up to see me and the family still keep in touch with me they ask about C how he is getting on they had a son who was friendly with C he is not allowed any contact with any of his real friends now.

When A called to the house in 2005 when I lost the case he said “I can not see why the father said when he called to the house I can not see why you can not have him home? C consistently said he wanted to live with his mother! can no-one hear him ?

Prior to this case there were no concerns about my care . I doubt his wish has changed not if his father has not changed, who knows he could have calmed down a lot changed. I doubt this very much indeed. I have not changed either I do not want to know or speak to him even if he has our son held captive with a court order.

There are no winners in this situation we are all losers ,only the legals get paid and the foster carers play host families short term.It is the children who suffer most of all they are lost in a system of secrecy .

JPs Justice of the peace are to be trained now to hear domestic violence cases in Luton , a cheesy photograph of David Gibbs a clerk to the court who is writing a paper , well Mr Gibbs you will have to get up to speed or listen to the service user what they have to say about they system .This is all a little to little, and a little bit too late for many women living in the UK who have lost custody battles to violent men. I am going to have to flit back to the diaries and then forward to where we are today.So please bear with me .In 2004 the rights of an abusive man in this case are given precedence over the safety of a child & everyone else, I was told back then by a social worker in Luton a young lady I had only met once and talked on the phone couple of times,in her opinion I would be safe. The reality of women who have been battered or subjected long term to domestic violence this is just priceless, especially coming from an organization which purports to promote the safety of children.Later I returned to the Contact Centre in Cambridge street in a rundown area in daylight this time with a camera. I recorded the journey from my modest 2 bedroomed semi -detached house to a place which had no CCTV cameras I sent the video to researchers who were studying what is happening in the courts they asked “do the MP’s know about this?” I am campaigning about the standards of the Contact Centres or what we now call them children’s prisons as they are a grim place for a child growing up to be detained by the courts to see a parent with a court order for contact. .This is the reality of some poor victim albeit a domestic violence victim who is desperate to see her child,she has to walk down a dark street in some run down area in Luton to see the only thing of any true value she has left , in her life is her child who is held in a children’s prison .The abuser the other parent with rights is outside waiting for her to arrive and he waits whilst the courts have knowingly increased the risk factors of violence for her,now she is ordered to have to see her child for 1 hour once a month whilst the child is put at risk long term to live with the violent parent.

This was just a nightmare for me to get to . It cost

We have all read the articles charming men make dangerous lovers ,I was always of an opinion this always happened to other women until it happened to me .I met such a man in 1995,my mother died in 1993 of breast cancer and I was going through a rough patch as a single parent bringing up my oldest son ,who was 14 years old. Some days I could not see the computer screen on the till for crying over my teenage son. So it is little wonder that I did not see this con -man coming in my direction.

This was a quiet divorced man, well dressed very well groomed. I worked as a barmaid in a pub in the morning I would cycle to work he would be smoking down stairs in the front bar when I arrived. Mr X lived in with the family at the time he was helping the manager out as a bouncer in what was a rough working mans pub. I cleaned the pub in the morning then done agency work on the other days I was on good money back then .I held down 3 jobs as a single parent . I am streetwise maybe with a few blind spots.He would make me coffee & chat about his break up with his recent girlfriend,he was just back from Germany a few lads were all there in the pub early 1 morning when I turned up.Something had gone wrong on the trip.The girlfriend did not want to know him , he would go to the pay phone several times and she did not want to know.Then one morning all his clothes came in on hangers like a factory was having a clear out the barman helped him move out of her home. Then it got nearer to Christmas I felt sorry for him as he was telling me he could not see his children his ex-wife was being difficult.Later on it turned out we had the same firm of solicitors in the town. I remembered everything he told me and showed me paperwork. Their divorce papers were pulled from the public registry for this case in 2004 . The same thing domestic violence was sited as a reason for the previous divorce ,the children were scared of him.Later the social services would ask for our passports and to do a CRB check for carers or guardianship.The way that this is handled in closed court is just barbaric is the only word for it. So many women on the internet all say the same,we have lost our children and are lucky to get 1 hour a month in a contact centre,one mum told me she gets 3 hours a year !

This is no secret, however the government will not be publishing these figures as they are selective about revealing certain topics for surveys.Women’s Aid on the other hand are not so backward in coming forwards as more mothers turn to the internet, in search of help & support . There is a lot of support for women living apart from children most of it is free.

I have completed the research with Women’s aid about our experience ,we also discussed the tactics this man used . I do not want to go into chapter & verse about this man as it is now in the past I do not want to go back there. When ordered by the courts to under take psychiatric evaluations in a care case ,I naively talked in confidence about the trauma or experience with living briefly with an unemployed alcoholic who had violent outbursts .

I researched later this Dr B who has chaired the rights of a child to contact with an abusive parent on domestic violence conferences in 2001 . I found she was up there with the other feminist’s the other child psychiatrist at GOS hospital Danya Glazer this was to cost me dearly talking to her, I lost our son directly for telling the truth .I mean they should warn you what to say before you go there , do not mention if he is violent towards you as they will use this as Parent Alienation Syndrome.

I am not alone I have met other mothers who say the same, she Dr B took their children and placed them with men who were not even live in fathers.

All of the placements are suspect, the similarities are most live on benefit or welfare. Most had a history of drink & drugs which is also well documented in their medical notes.

My own experience would tell me that there is a new breed of man coming up through the divorce courts who has far more rights than a child or a woman’s right to feel safe .This is what you call progress in the family court in the 21st century.
